Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your CleanSpace Stay account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to the CleanSpace Stay mobile app (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play) and to the platform at app.cleanspacestay.com.

How CleanSpace Stay accounts work

CleanSpace Stay is an employer-provided application. It is not a consumer app you sign up for on your own. Accounts are created, managed, and revoked by your organization's administrator, project manager, or foreman as part of your company's use of the platform. Because your account exists within your employer's workspace, account access is normally added or removed by that organization — for example, when you join or leave a project or the company.

For this reason, the app does not include a self-service "delete my account" button. Instead, deletion of your personal data is handled through the documented request channel described below, which is available to both current and former users.

How to request deletion of your personal data

If you would like your personal data removed — for example, if you are a former employee or contractor and want your information purged — you can request it directly. The fastest path is to first contact your organization's administrator, but you do not need their involvement to make a request.

Submit a deletion request

Email us from the address associated with your account and include the subject line "Account Deletion Request."

What happens after you submit a request

  1. Verification. We confirm your identity and that the request comes from the account holder, to protect your data from unauthorized deletion requests.
  2. Review. Because the account is associated with your employer, we may coordinate with your organization's administrator before removing data tied to active company projects.
  3. Deletion. Once verified and eligible, we delete or de-identify your personal data. We aim to complete eligible requests within 30 days.
  4. Confirmation. We notify you at your contact address when the request has been processed.

What data is deleted

Upon an eligible request, we delete or de-identify the personal data we hold about you, which may include your profile information (name, email, phone number), travel-related details and documents you uploaded (such as known traveler numbers and reward program numbers), and account credentials.

Data we may retain

Certain records may be retained after a deletion request where retention is required or permitted by law, or is necessary for legitimate business purposes. This can include records needed for legal, tax, accounting, audit, security, or fraud-prevention obligations, and business or financial records relating to travel and bookings that belong to your organization. Where we retain such records, we limit them to what is necessary and protect them accordingly. Information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it no longer identifies you may be retained and used without further notice.
